As parents of two young boys, we share our customers concerns over the use of chemicals and lead in children’s toys and products. We, too, want safe toys for our children. That is why, at Froggy’s, we are committed to selling the toys from manufacturers that comply with safety standards set by the US government through regulations and legislations such as the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which became law and took affect in February 2009. The law regulates the use of lead and bans certain chemicals, such as phthalates, from being used in children’s products. We have carefully chosen manufacturers and companies that have well-established track records for producing safe, high quality and long-lasting toys.
If we find a product on our shelves that has been recalled and/or deemed unsafe by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), we will make every reasonable effort to alert our customers and display the information in our store and on our web site.
